Scouting Awards

Boy Scouts who achieve the rank of Eagle Scout have demonstrated a belief in values shared with the SAR. All new Eagle Scouts are recognized by the SAR with a certificate of award for their achievement presented at their Court of Honor. Scout troop adult leaders nominate their scouts for this award. Our chapter also supports Eagle Scout entries into the Eagle Scout Scholarship competition. Scouts must be less than 19 years old to apply. Entrants complete a chapter competition application. Chapter winners progress on to state and national competitions which have substantial cash prizes.
