SAR Patriot research system

 The SAR Patriot Research System is the SAR’s repository database of members, their Patriot ancestors, and Patriots’ burial information. Hundreds of official SAR volunteers nationally use their smart phones and computers to capture and enter the coordinates of Patriot headstones or cemetery locations, verify Patriot burial information in the system, and enter SAR membership record information linked to a Patriot. They also also research and write Patriot biographies to add to the record.
